How I use Long tail keyword marketing to drive massive traffic to my favorite affiliate marketing programs of 2008.

Long tail keyword marketing rocks! Especially when you implement free tools like HitTail.com with it.

Before, I tell you how to drive massive traffic to my (or your) website let me take a moment and expose my favorite affiliate marketing programs of 2008. There are several things that go into making up this following list including:

* 95% of my favorites are membership websites.
* 90% are well known highly reputable sites.
* 100% of my favorites are directly related to my niche.
* 90% I am personally presently using on my own projects.

For whatever affiliate programs you decide to run with I recommend following the above list for yourself. After all, it's your own reputation on the line when you support something that is clearly not a good tool. Further, I love high quality affiliate membership programs because I get paid month after month after month.

With that said, here is my list:

THE WINNER:
Aweber: Automated Email Marketing
It is my own personal opinion that Aweber is as the top of the automated Email marketing programs out there, with no exceptions. Not only do they have an awesome tool, but Aweber also has top of the line customer support over the phone and directly online. From personal experience I highly recommend using this valuable tool for all your Email correspondence and while you're at it, become an affiliate and promote them to your own niche. No matter what you are marketing everyone needs to incorporate an online newsletter into his or her business model.

RUNNER UP #1:
US Free Ads: Online Classified Advertising
If you are looking for a place to put classified ads look no further. Okay, I'll admit, Craig's list probably has this tool beat in amount of current participation. However, when was the last time that they paid you for referring traffic to their website? I believe US Free Ads is a newer concept than that other popular ad network and as such will surpass them in the near future both in design and popularity. I've personally used this service throughout 2009 and find it to be an extremely valuable tool for all my Internet Marketing activities.

RUNNER UP #2
OddCast: Website Search Generator
It's time for a true confession. I have personally never ever used OddCast -- YET! But I'm going to be implementing this technology in 2009. It's no secret that interactivity is highly desired on the web today. Given that this site helps people find what they are looking for on YOUR website it is bound to increase visitor retention and return. Further, their animated characters ad spice to your website that people will enjoy using.

HONORABLE MENTIONS
* Traffic Geyser: Video Directory Submitter
* Article Submitter: Article Submission Software
* Provide Support: Live Online Interactive Support
This probably would have made the top 3 of my list, but I only found out about it yesterday. Given that we are in December it wouldn't be right to say that this is my favorite affiliate program. However, if you are looking for a way to provide online support to your website visitors this is an extremely affordable high quality excellently supported tool that you should not be without. I am immediately implementing this technology on my own websites for obvious reasons.

Well, there you have it. The SEOGuy's own personal favorite affiliate marketing programs of 2008. But how do I use long tail keyword marketing techniques to drive massive traffic to my affiliates?

Easy.

I do what I did above.

* I talk about them.
* I write about them.
* I feature them on my newsletter.

Word of mouth advertising is indeed the best form of advertising available today.

Where To Place An Autoresponder Opt-In Form For The Best Plan E-Marketing Strategies

“Plan E-Marketing”

I wish that more people would see the extreme importance of those 2 words. Some sites I arrive at…

Well, let’s just say they are definitely NOT planned out.

Today, let’s talk about the where to place an autoresponder opt-in form for the highest conversions possible.

Many people like using pop-up technology for this aspect of their website, and when you review their statistical usefulness I can’t say as I blame them. Especially when you consider technologies that companies like Aweber autoresponder services bring into this picture.

Never-the-less, I personally have not found an affective way of using any form of pop-up that I am 100% pleased with and thus cannot recommend this alternative for the masses. Rather I like the KISS approach.

KEEP
IT
SIMPLE
STUP….

I think you’ve got the idea.

To that extent, I draw an invisible “Z” (make sure it’s invisible, getting permanent marker off a monitor can indeed be a huge pain in the butt ;) ) on my monitor. Wherever the “Z” points are found at are considered the “hot spots” of your website.

My own personal favorites are:
* Across the top
* Left hand side before article
* Across the bottom

As it relates to autoresponders it’s not a bad idea to have one at the bottom of each page, though I would certainly have one near the top too. Think of it though, if a reader has perused your content long enough to get to the bottom of your page they have deemed it relevant enough for them to spend more than a moments passing glance with. Now they find that they can get more valuable content by becoming part of your newsletter? I personally haven’t thought of this till writing this article, but it certainly does have at least a twinge of logic to it though I would certainly place an additional sign-up form near the top of your page too.

* On my website I integrate the form and the title together into the same section.
* On my blog I integrate the opt-in form and an Aweber add as the Aweber affiliate program is one of my best affiliate programs that I am part of.

How can I end an article about where to place an autoresponder opt-in form for highest conversion rates without at least mentioning the OTO (One Time Offer) plan E-Marketing strategy? I can’t.

While this article will not be dealing with OTO concepts directly, having one page that you send people to which includes a BRIEF audio, video or article and a sign-up form is not at all a bad idea. Under this approach you can be assured that your audience will not get lost before they become a valuable part of your newsletter subscription list. While I personally do not use this approach, for reasons of my own choosing, it is definitely worth considering when preparing your own E-Marketing strategies.

Using An Auto-Responder: How To Attract Customers Back To A Website Using An Auto-Responder Aweber Opt-In Form

So you want to have a popular website? Who doesn’t?

Go away and leave me alone.

What?

Your persistent aren’t you?

You want the truth about how to attract customers back to your website using an auto-responder?

Don’t be silly. You don’t have enough time in your day for this. And if you did you wouldn’t follow through anyway, would you?

That’s what I th…

You would?

Hmmmm, if that’s the case there is hope for you. I personally use an Aweber opt-in form for my own projects.

That’s right! Aweber rocks, and they will give you a free test drive just so you can kick their tires and rev their engine.

Want to know a secret? Just be sure not to let Aweber know. Last time I took their puppy for a spin I went from 0 to 90 in 1.5 seconds. Yeeeee Haaaaa! Hee hee.

Anyways, since you’re still reading you must be one of the privileged few. You really get the idea of what the Internet can do for your business. So let me cut to the case here.

First, give something of value away *choke* FR *gag* EE!!!!

Not just the same ordinary dried up hash that everyone else is sucker punching people with, but rather something of genuine value that people will appreciate for months or perhaps even years to come.

I’m working on an Ebook right now that is all about Bum Marketing. I’m going to charge $9.95 per copy for the Ebook or if you are part of my newsletter you get it uhhhh huuummmm – “that word” fre…. I can’t bear to say it twice in one article.

Once I get finished with this Ebook I will be writing a second one about Twitter.

You’re the expert of your “whatever it is.” So why not develop something that your customers will appreciate and then give it away to those that sign-up for your newsletter. This is called viral marketing at its best.

But even more than that, if you constantly provide your subscribers with top quality highly interesting newsletters your going to develop a reputation. Soon you will find that they are telling people about you and your resulting sign-ups skyrocket.

And it all started from an extremely simple to use Aweber opt-in form.

Just keep giving your audience high quality information and not only will it attract customers back to your website, but they will tell their friends about you! Can you think of a better advertising method than “word of mouth”? Don’t get me wrong. There are terrific ways of advertising out there. Aweber & Twitter are a couple that come to my mind, but even they pale in comparison to loyal readers telling interested friends and family about what you are doing.

Well, there you have it. How using an auto-responder can super-charge both your first time and repeat traffic. Now go get busy making Aweber autoresponder services work for you, and I’ll see you in the winners circle. Yeeeeee Hawwwwww.

50 Ways To Leave A Tweeter!

Hop on the bus Gus.
Make a new plan Stan.

Wait! Wait!

That's the wrong article. I will tell you how to leave a Tweeter or stop someone from contacting you in TweetLand.

If you haven't followed them, it's easy. Instead of clicking "follow" click "block."

However, if you've already "followed" someone that you choose not to "follow" any longer then…

· Select "view all" from your follower list.
· Find your selected X-Tweeter
· Click "remove."

Mission accomplished, but this is something I trust you will never want to do with my Twitter handle, which is BodyByChocolate.

Twitter Local: A New Trend In Advertising For Local Twitter Users

Marketing.

Have you ever heard it’s a numbers game? If so, then you have heard right.

But following a new trend in advertising can be so expensive.

Enter stage right “Twitter Local.”

What is local Twitter?

It’s a tool for finding Twittering people in your local area. The best part is it doesn’t cost anything to use.

Sweet!

Of course, it can amount to nothing more than a social network that ties you together with friends who have common interests in a given community. And if that’s all you make of it, that’s terrific. However, this tool can be so much more valuable than that if you want it to be. The choice is really up to you.

Let’s say you have a business that focuses on healthy chocolate.

Why healthy chocolate? No reason, other than that it just sounds like a yummy business to have.

You start your local Twittering device and see that there are 5 conversations taking place.

* 3 of them have nothing to do with your business aspirations.
* 1 is talking about health
* 1 is talking about drinking a cup of cocoa

You get involved with the conversation about health, and after providing valuable content you also mention your healthy chocolate business. Since these people are talking about health there is a good chance that they will be interested in your business.

You share your favorite hot chocolate recipe with the “cup of cocoa” people while mentioning your own personal pursuits within this niche.

Certain people will begin to follow you as a result of your valuable comments. As they get to know you a natural progression would be to establish a time to meet. Since these are local Twitter people this is possible as opposed to not focusing on where they are located.

Twitter Local can indeed be used as a new trend in advertising if you just do it wisely.

How To Gain Guaranteed Targeted Traffic To Create A Strong Online Presence Using OddCast Inc.

Have you read "THOSE" articles before?

You know the one's that say do "this and you will be a millionaire in the next 2.5 seconds."

Or how about "how to gain guaranteed targeted traffic to crate a strong online presence in one easy step."

Those are the real pathetic one's.

Errr, wait!

Scratch that. It fits to close to my title that talks about Oddcast Inc.

But, you know, I wonder. Could it be possible that some articles actually do offer solid ways of guaranteed traffic?

Wait!

Don't run off yet. Here me out.

I'm not talking about the pathetic hype and hope articles. I'm talking about authentically genuine ways of building a receptive audience. The way I would like to focus on today would be by using Oddcast.

What is Oddcast?

It is a search engine utility you can build into your site that has character.

I mean is character.

No, wait! It is character driven and quite catchy too. Actually it's a whole lot more than that, but that's my own favorite part of this awesome tool.
Okay, imagine this. You have a site that focuses on gidgets (hey, I could have said widgets you know.) Someone comes to your site looking for a purple polka dotted gidget but the page they land on is of your latest fidget models instead. After staying for 2.5 seconds they leave thinking you know nothing of the difference between a gidget and a fidget.

You have lost credibility.
You have lost a visitor.
But most of all, you have lost potential moola.

Who wants that?

Sign me up for the "not me" category.

So, let's imagine this scenario again with the inclusion of an Oddcast Character.

Same gidgetty fidgetty site.
Same website visitor.
Same potential purchase power.

The only difference is that when they arrive on your fidget page looking for a gidget instead of leaving they ask your Oddcast search engine if there is any information on gidgets. The Oddcast unit has been setup to know exactly how to respond to your visitor and its nothing but net from there.

Actually, it's more than "net".

It's a happy website visitor.
It's money in your pocket.

But most of all it's potential word of mouth advertising you have the chance of receiving as everyone knows gidget people travel in packs. Did you know that word of mouth advertising is the absolute best advertising you could ever receive? No really, it is. However, even if you are in the debating mood and choose to challenge that point, can you deny the potential positive affects of free advertising?

I'd continue this train of thought but I've got to go get my Seahawks had and cap out of the laundry for tonight's game. Therefore, I'll leave you to investigate Oddcast Inc. for yourself to determine if it really is an excellent guaranteed targeted traffic to website approach that is sure to build a strong online presence for whatever you are marketing.

Email Autoresponder: How Do You Create An Email Autoresponder Opt-In Email Form That Works

Have you heard that your websites success is in the list?

It's true.

A healthy thriving list is like pure gold to a miner. Its value is incomparable.

However, not all Email autoresponders are created equal.

So, how can you make an opt-in email form for your own website that really works.

First, you need to decide if you are going to run this program from your own mailbox or hire a service to maintain it for you. In my opinion Aweber is the absolute best solution available, you may decide differently but I would recommend checking it out before you do so.

Whatever you decide your next task is to position your sign-up form on your page correctly. Pop-ups are not highly recommended though Aweber does have a "fade in" option that they do advise using. I myself like the in text form, as they are much less intrusive.

However, you don't want to put the sign-up form just anywhere on your page. Instead, draw an imaginary "Z" on your monitor. Wherever that "Z" intersects with your page is a good place for your opt-in form. I personally prefer the upper left corner as it gets the most attention before the "real" content has been read.

Give something away on your form. People like free things. I remember the days when gas stations would give away free things so that you would purchase gas from them. Those days may be gone, but not on the Internet. I'm currently working on an EReport about how to write for the Internet, when it's complete I will charge non-readers while giving it away free to those who sign up for my newsletter. This concept encourages both sign-ups and loyalty if I do it right.

Use a double sign-up process for subscribing to your newsletter. While this may mean the loss of some readers, it avoids others accusing you of spam because they have to confirm that they actually want your newsletter before they start receiving it.

There are literally hundreds of ideas for making the most out of your opt-in Email form. Perhaps another would be to keep the content being offered in the opt-in form and the newsletter itself niched directly to the interests of your audience.

If you follow ideas like the ones above your Email autoresponder success will only be a heartbeat away.

In An Economic Depression Internet Marketers News Must Find And Report Truth Else They Steal The Empire State Building

I read an article today about how someone was able to steal the empire state building. I'm not sure if this article was factual or not, but I am sure that it brings up an excellent point that Internet Marketers news must find and report the truth in an economic depression.

Are we in a recession?

Are we in a depression?

I'll let those who deal with such things figure that out. After all, that's not my point.

I remember several years back while living in Seattle that the news came out of the Space Needle being moved to Moses Lake. The news was so convincing that many people actually believed that this was going to take place. I personally visited the Space Needle during this time and there was yellow tape clear around it? That yellow tape made the reports all that more convincing.

Eventually, the prank was exposed for what it was and the gag had run full circle.

Or how about the Orson Wells radio program of Martians invading the earth? There he was reading a book over the radio as if it were really taking place. People actually ended their lives over that prank.

When the credibility of a report is found to be faulty all further information is held in question. You don't need to be a professional journalist for this to be the case. For example, on my own voice mail I talk about healthy chocolate. I received a message recently telling me that healthy chocolate would be nice but it is truly an oxymoron.

Fortunately, I have clear factual evidence to backup the words of my voice mail on my Body By Chocolates blog.

So, did someone really steal the empire state building? I doubt it, but you can find that report at http://petersantilli.com/?p=95. I can however tell you that credibility in Internet Marketing news no matter if you are in an economic boom or in an economic depression is imperative to the success of whatever project you happen to be working with.

How Britney Spears News Outranks Letters To Santa Clause Using Twitter Tools

Ever use Twitter?

It's becoming a favorite tool of my own Internet Marketing processes. But how does this relate to Britney Spears news or letters to Santa Clause?

Easy.

I saw this post earlier today:
"Britney Spears tops Yahoo searches"

Which led to an article about the extreme popularity of Britney Spears. Like, that's not rocket sciene.

Then I saw this post:
"Just unfollowed Santa Claus because he wouldn't follow me back... Nobody gets a pass"

Using Twitter can indeed be quite helpful for anyone's cause, but only if you use it in the right way.

What is Twitter?

It is a Web 2.0 Social Network where people have the ability to share whatever they choose as long as it is done in 140 words or less. The best place to find out more about Twitter is on Twitter.com or you could use TwitterAnswers.com for more help.

So how would Britney Spears, BodyByChocolate or anyone for that matter increase popularity on Twitter?

Here are some direct Twitter ways.
* Setup an account
* Actively participate in Tweeting, which means sending 140 character or less messages.
* Talk about interesting things that people want to here about.
* Be sure to check direct messages often

Here are some tools that could be used to further her cause.
* TwitterLocal.net (Find people in your local area)
* TwitzU.com (Promote a cause or event)
* TwitScoop.com (Find out the latest on what people are talking about)

And for the record how did Santa Clause get put on the knotty list?

When someone chooses to follow you, you need to follow them or they can simply remove you from their follow list. It's really only right to reciprocate a follow in the Web 2.0 world.

Remember you heard the truth about how Britney Spears news outranks letters to Santa Clause here first and follow BodyByChocolate for even more useful information about using Twitter tools as well as healthy chocolate consumption.

Blog Profits: Do Article Directories Help Links Increase Blog Profits?

You've created a blog.

You've written and posted articles.

Now you want to know if submitting to article directories help links increase blog profits.

Perhaps, the best answer to that question is "it depends."

If you have been niching your content for your blog to a specific topic and this article relates to that topic then the answer is yes.

But why?

First, search engines love websites when they get backlinks. Especially when those backlinks are from websites that have at least a PR3 level. Increasing your popularity on the search engines will lead to more people finding your website through the engines. Consequently, the more people that visit your website the greater your chances of earning more income from your blog.

There is another way that you will directly benefit from article directories. People do actually use those directories and when they visit your website they have the chance of reading your signature line and clicking on the links within which lead to your blog or website.

However, if your article is well written, people have the opportunity of taking your article and posting it to their website. They get the content they need for their blog and you get the backlink you need for your popularity. In this way, everyone leaves being a winner.

These are the primary direct ways in which you benefit. There are others.

An indirect option happened to me a couple of years ago. Someone read my article in a directory, came to my website, and requested that I begin writing for them. This certainly isn't going to happen to everyone everyday; but it can happen to anyone any day of the week.

I personally use article submitter to get my articles to over 300 different directories. You are free to submit your articles manually if you prefer, but what a pain.

Therefore, done right, article directories help your links increase blog profits in many ways.

Traffic Creation Tools: Improving Website Marketing Activities By Using Twitter Traffic Creation Tools

Have you ever discovered a new toy only to rush out and tell the world about it? I started research for this article to tell people about my Twitter experience and that is exactly what I intend to do.

No, I'm not a Twitterholic yet.

And I'm certainly not ProTwitter.

But I can't help but think that my own traffic creation techniques will benefit by using Twitter as part of my website marketing activities.

Last Friday I setup my @bodybychocolate Twitterefic account and instantly found that I had 10 friends. What exactly does that mean? Are these 10 people that are genuinely interested in my topic or spam artist that will take up more time than an Email storm.

I'm not sure.

However, if there is a way to niche a twit like you do a website or blog then I think there is a place for Twitter in my life. However, if Twitter is nothing more than random untopical TwitNits then I'm not convinced of its usefulness.

There are tools that appear to help people become more Twitterfied. Two of my current favorite traffic creation by using Twitter tools are:

TwitStat.com
Twhirl.com

Other apparent Twitterific tools I'm looking into and would recommend you doing the same would be.

TwitScoop.com
TwitThis.com
Twellow.com
* TwitterLocal.com
TweetBeep.com
* FriendFeed.com
Twist.Flaptor.com
Twitdict.com
* TweetAnswers.com

NOTE: The asterisks are tools that I have moved into the top of my own personal Twitter checking out options. What is your own personal favorite Twitter tool?

Being a noob to Twitter I know I have a lot to learn, and perhaps long range the biggest thing I'll learn is that Twittering is a waste of time rather than an excellent place for website marketing activities. I hope not, considering all they hype about Twitter.

What Is A Bum Marketer Traffic Creation Process?

Perhaps it would be easier to explain what a bum marketer traffic creation process is not.

It is not dressing in shabby close while standing in middle of the freeway. While that may indeed create traffic, the resulting popularity equation is quite likely to be rather low. There is however a positive way of answering this question which, in time, will lead to hordes of visitors coming to your website and/or blog.

I talk about bum marketing rather frequently. Truth be known it is one of my favorite styles of marketing. Today I decided to take a reverse look at this entire process from what I have explained in previous articles.

*** HitTail ***

First I install hittail on the site I desire to build. Then I start the game of wait writing building articles and content using marketing methods for bums that I explain in other articles on my site.

It may take awhile, but soon I see my first trickle of results from HitTail. They tell me how people are finding my site. In time, what I first found as a trickle because an all out gushing river of keyword ideas and concepts for me to write about.

*** Beyond HitTail ***

As I look through the results I find topics I would like to write about. For example, this article was built directly from the resulting processes. I created the title from keywords I thought I wanted to use while weeding out those that did not fit the process.

How did I know what did and did not fit?

By using simple Google searches with my desired keywords in quotes (ie " ")

*** An Example ***

With all the news about Acai berries lately, let's say I wanted to write an article about this powerful antioxidant for my blog. I go to Google and put in the following.

"Acai"

And find that there are 5,020,000 competitors fighting for that keyword by looking at the blue bar at the top of the Google results. Ouch! If I hope to compete in this market I better do something and fast.

One of about a trillion logical options would be to change my search to the following.

"Acai berries"

Now I only have 234,000 competitors. Clearly, that took a huge bite out of the competition, but for best results I want to find a keyword phrase that has between 1000 and 5000 competitors. Some competition is good, just as long as you don't drown in the process.

On the good side however, there is a healthy amount of AdWord ads on the right column. People pay good money for these ads. If people are paying the chances are terrific that there is money to be made off this keyword phrase.

However, I'm not going to settle for a nugget when the gold mine is just around the corner.

So I look to the left and the right of the results down the middle of the page as well as in the AdWords till I find something I would like to add to my keyword phrase and come up with.

"Acai berries facts"

Only 20 competitors! Now we need to alter things till it's between 1000 & 5000. After only 5 minutes of searching I find the perfect long tail keyword phrase.

"Chocolate Acai berry"

Which has lots of people paying for Google AdWords as well as a healthy dose of competition coming in at 1,980 competitors.

However, by itself it doesn't seem to make much sense.

What if we added two longtail keyword phrases together to arrive at an enticing title of something like?

What are the healthy benefits of chocolate acai berry products?

Now all I need to do is write an article with the chosen long tail keyword phrase in the first and last paragraph, post it to my http://BodyByChocolate.com site and wait for the traffic creation to take affect. While any real bum marketer knows that this won't happen over night, it is true that good things come to people that wait.

NOTE: But what if you applied this entire process to PPC? Can you say zoooommmmmmmm!

What Should You Consider Before Choosing An Affiliate Program?

Your reputation!

Nothing like starting an article with the answer, but it's true. If you promote a bad affiliate program you will be sorry in more ways than one.

Perhaps you've heard statements like

* 1 negative can destroy 100 positives
* No news travels as fast as bad news
* A bad report can kill a good concept

It's true you know. And never is it truer than in the life of an affiliate marketer. Therefore there are some things you need to know before choosing an affiliate program to promote.

Many people will tell you that you need to know the product first hand. You need to buy, experience & digest whatever it is before you market it. This certainly isn't bad advice, but sometimes it can be quite impractical.

Better still, would be to know your established niche.

* Who are you trying to reach?
* What are their hot buttons?
* How can you show yourself the expert of their issues?

You don't want to peddle just any product that happens to catch your eye. Instead, your niche audience needs to have an extreme interest in your product even before you attempt to market it. How do you know what your audience is interested in?

You could take a poll or a survey.

However, I recommend that you build your nice site (consider blogs), and then go look for resources that compliment what you have built.

Other things to consider include

* The reputation of the company
* The support available for your given product
* The cost of your item
* And how long it has been available to the market

You could have the "world's best mouse trap." But what are you going to do if everyone interested in this product of yours already has more than enough of whatever it is you are attempting to market to them?

I heard a story recently about a woman that had built an entire website around a given product. One month after she opened for business her supplier shut down and she could not find another supplier. She had orders to refund, complaints to field & business to run. The only thing she didn't have was the actual product.

Bottom Line: What a nightmare. Be sure that your company is stable.

There are many things to consider before choosing an affiliate program to manage. Making sure that all the above points are among them will help your cusses to grow and grow and grow.

How Do You Promote Your Online Business With Blogs?

Generally, I look for long tail keywords to focus my articles upon.

I made an exception this time when a reader asked me this exact question.

Why?

Simple.

I am successfully using blogs to promote businesses and consider myself an expert when answering how do you promote your online business with blogs.

*** MLM GOLD MINE ***

Wait!

Don't run away so fast.

This is not an MLM (Multi-Level Opportunity), but rather power for those who choose to do business in this way.

One such client that I am working with is in a company called Xocai and wanted a place where he could post articles about his company. Not only did he end up with that, but I also put together a nice video arsenal for people to view when the stopped by as well as an interactive Google search bar capable of searching all critical sites related to his healthy chocolate company.

You can see what we came up with by visiting
===> http://BodyByChocolates.com

As this site matures he hopes to get readers involved in the various conversations, which would be nothing but net for his long range goals.

*** ORGANIZED ORGANIZATIONS ***

If you're in business for yourself you have probably heard about networking groups that are in your local area. What makes for a networking group can indeed vary. But the underlying principal is that it is a group of like-minded people getting together to share ideas that everyone can benefit from.

One such group that I designed a blog for wanted an easy reference place for people's websites and contact information as well as the ability to communicate special events and information between the group members. Blogs are perfect for this as you can invite others to publish there own information on the same site. Blogger allows up to 100 people to post to the same blog.

No more looking for that elusive missing piece of paper to find out about a given event, it's all in one place and easy to access.

Now what would happen if some creative individual put a video related to their product on this platform? Since the person is known, and since video is so highly appreciated on the net the chances are that many of the group members would end up watching the video. Now when the group gets together next time people already know more about their specific product.

Here is the example for how this process is working.
===> http://BNA-AM.BlogSpot.com

Don't forget to check out the interactive polling function when visiting this blog. Knowledge is power!

*** SELF PUBLISHING SOLUTIONS ***

Another client just wrote a niche oriented book related to history. He wants an easy way of marketing his information. Building an interactive blog just makes sense for this client. Adding FeedBurner.com technology to this blog allows it to self promote itself in many different ways across the net.

Here is how that looks.
===> http://effectualhistory.blogspot.com/

With that said, it is easy to know answers to questions like "how do you promote your online business with blogs"? The answer is in multiple ways including videos, articles, comments, links, automated marketing, newsletters (which I haven't covered here), and much much more. Thus the question really should be, why aren't you promoting your web business using blogs?

TheSecondTier: A free affiliate training program by Russell Brunson's at TheSecondTier

You’ve been waiting for a long time and finally its here - free affiliate training that will blow all the others out of the water!

The already popular TheSecondTier affiliate training center has undergone a complete information and visual makeover.

As an affiliate you’ll get more tools and they’ll be more powerful than ever. This translates directly into cha-ching! Here are just a few things that make this affiliate program the most effective affiliate program out there:

• Huge commissions on both first AND second tier sales!!!
• Product tools for all types of affiliates.
• Full training center with access hours of video and audio training.
• Live affiliate manager blog where you can get your affiliate questions answered.
• Weekly live training calls (every monday morning!!!)

Russell Brunson's unique philosophy that affiliates should be provided not only with powerful tools but the knowledge to use them has pushed TheSecondTier to the top of competing programs.

Russell has taken affiliate training to a whole new level. He understands that he can have hundreds of affiliates that don’t know what they are doing and get decent sales OR he can give them the knowledge and tools they need to create explosive amounts of money AND share with them a very generous portion of the profits from each sale they generate!

Here are just a few of the things that you'll learn inside of TheSecondTier:

How to choose the right product for you to promote - One of the biggest mistakes that almost all affiliates make when they first start out, is that they try to promote too many things at once. This video will show you exactly how to choose the right one or two products that will make you the most money.

How to set up an "Affiliate Squeeze" page - Less then 2% of all affiliates use this powerful technique, but after you implement it into your affiliate promotions, you will see your commissions grow exponentially.

How to drive targeted traffic to your "Affiliate Squeeze" pages for FREE - Once you learn this simple (and free) concept on how to drive traffic to your "Affiliate Squeeze" pages, you will be able to start literally writing your own paychecks.

How to build a huge targeted opt-in mailing list - You will learn how easy it is to build an opt-in list, and use that to exponentially increase your affiliate commissions EVERY week!

How to strategically place "Affiliate Land Mines" and watch your profits EXPLODE! - Follow this one simple strategy and you will start getting checks in the mail every month!

How to dominate your Pay Per Click ad campaigns - It's very powerful if you learn how to do it right. This video will walk you through the process to get high converting PPC ads!

How to use teleseminars to close ten times the clients in 1/2 the time - One of the secrets to selling a lot of products as an affiliate quickly is doing teleseminars. I was nervous when I did my first few, but now I can't stop because every time I do one, my affiliate checks from that day are anywhere from $2,000 - $15,000 (and it's a lot easier then you'd think).

How to broker JV deals and make a fortune on your 2nd tier - Many of our affiliates earn thousands of dollars each month from the efforts of others. These videos will show you exactly how they find super affiliates to add to their second tier.

How to protect your commissions from thieves while increasing your conversions - One of the number one concerns that affiliates have are people stealing their commissions. You will learn the techniques that will protect your links and also guarantee that even the worst thieves will gladly give you their commissions instead of keeping it for themselves.

• and a whole lot more....

Russell does not discriminate against less experienced affiliates. In fact, he’s already taken countless numbers of people from knowing 0 to being listed among his top affiliates. It is so effective that some people actually pay to sell products for him!

The products Russell puts out are of top quality and always in demand. In fact, people call his office months before products are ready just begging to know when they can get their hands on them.

Combine this with all the promotional and training tools Russell Brunson's team provides and you’re already half way to making serious affiliate commissions. The other half will be done when you take advantage of this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity!

Does Affiliate Marketing Work? Is It A Sales Mechanism Gone Bad, Or Does Affiliate Marketing Work?

Does affiliate marketing work as a good sales mechanism?

If you relate personally to the following thoughts, this article is your oasis in a world of Internet marketing madness.

Have you've joined an affiliate program center like

* ClickBank.com?
* CJ.com?

Or perhaps you have focused in on specific companies by joining affiliate programs from

* Amazon.com.
* Ebay.com.

Or you've stumbled upon what you think is the worlds greatest widget and joined even more niched companies as an affiliate. For me that would include companies like

* TrafficGeyser.com (Video broadcaster and a whole lot more.)
* OddCast.com (Interactive search engine that can be integrated into most any website.)
* Aweber.com (Automated newsletter service people subscribe to when visiting your web.)

And the list goes on and on and on.

You've told everyone you can think of about these tools.
You've even Emailed your entire personal contact list (a BIG no no in the world of Internet Marketing.)

And yet, when you logon to their super powered high quality affiliate marketers exclusive detail screen you still see the same results of "0 Sales" staring back at you. It's now that you begin to wonder if affiliate marketing even works.

The answer is, YES! It really does.

The problem is not in the concept of affiliate marketing, but rather training.
Think about it for a moment.

A doctor spends thousands of dollars studying to be the best in their field.

A lawyer has to pass a comprehensive bar exam before they can practice.

Heck, ever a truck driver has requirements to meet before some companies will even pay them the time of day.

And yet, here you are "with link will travel" and expected to know exactly how to make things work for you. Isn't that just a little more than ridiculous?

Of course, you could join any of a number of services that promise you the moon. All you have to do is spend an outlandish amount of money and they will gladly show you the way to your castle.

Let's see. Given our current economy most people are starting out with a negative of some sort. Let's be conservative and say that you are currently behind by $5000 (hey, your one of the lucky ones.)

Current debt = Negative $5000
Affiliate sales = $0
Affiliate training = Negative $1000 or more!
Grand Total = Negative $6000

I don't know about you, but in my opinion that math is just not headed in the right direction.

Thus, I was not to keen on affiliate marketing until yesterday. It was then that I stumbled upon

*** The Second Tier ***

* Free affiliate sign-up (normal)
* Free Monday training calls (NOT normal)
* Free articles, videos (NOT normal)
* Instant access to help via Email and phone (NOT normal)

Fact is *** The Second Tier *** has so many NOT NORMAL advantages to affiliate marketing that it makes there entire package solid gold.

Did I tell you about *** The Second Tier *** free training materials? No? Well, take my word for it; you want to check their system out.

So, next time you find yourself asking
Does affiliate marketing work as a good sales mechanism follow-up with this question. When was the last time I stopped by *** The Second Tier *** and proceed accordingly.

Forget about Google

No matter how you look at it, everyone with a website is swimming upstream, hoping to become highly popular or the go-to place for some specific information or category of information. An undue amount of attention has been put on Google rankings, because people think that's how they will get popular; if Google lists them near the top of the list.

Over the years, the healthy swimmers have devised and acted on dozens of "get-ranked-quick" schemes, as I like to call them. But Google is a well funded entity with more internet tech's than you'll ever be able to afford. And they have a goal which is likely counter to yours: List the most popular and appropriate web sites for the searched information. They are constantly finding out what is interfering with their algorithms, and neutralizing the problem. As we work to outsmart them we are just helping them debug their system.

So what's the answer then?

I say, forget Google, or at least put them to the back of your mind for now, and ask "What would it take to really BE the most popular web site for the category I serve?"

To help think tank this idea, ask yourself "If I had $20,000 to spend on making this the best web site ever, what would I do?" Build an entire business plan around that, and leave out any SEO funding for now. Chances are you'd have a hard time spending it all, and you'd have an amazing attractive, full-featured site that was exactly what people want when they search your category, along with some over-the-top functionality even THEY wouldn't have thought of. They'd bookmark it, tell their friends about it, and use it frequently.

You don't have $20,000, but that number was just to get you to stop limiting yourself. A lot can be done for little or no money and the willingness to miss your favorite TV show while you hunker down and get to work.

The irony is that if the "get-ranked-quick" crowd had done this instead of chasing temporary ranking highs, they'd be a solid contender with a "real" google popularity that will never go away. The temporary and mechanical ways to get some notice will always fade, but if you make your quality and user experience the priority, then any google notice you manage to get will translate to a permanent following, and free you from chasing after ways to fool Google.

Then, with each new level of your site's improvement, do a little promotional effort, or even hire an SEO guy you trust to keep the PR fires burning while you concentrate on making a site that's PR-worthy. Listing your site in some directory may get you a temporary spot in Google's limelight, but if you get visitors who say "Wow, this is great" They will "digg" you, "stumbleupon" you and tag you as "del.icio.us."

"If you build it they will come" is not entirely true. People still need to find out you built it. But if it's good enough, all you have to do is prime the pump, and then watch as it takes on a life of it's own. I post links to some of my favorite sites fairly often. One such site is switchplanet.com, a DVD and Game trading site. Yes they spend some time "getting the word out" but first they built a fantastic site. I have never met the owner, but I like their site well enough to link to it. He has a full time job like most of us, but he and his wife built this site, and then never stopped adding features. A DVD trading site with forums, user movie ratings, interest groups that you can found or join, and he never stops building. It's an amazing effort really, but it's the kind of thing anyone can do if they just keep at it.

I know, I know. Sometimes life gets out of control and you don't get everything done in a day that you would prefer. That's why this is a goal, not a requirement. I go a whole week at times not getting articles written. During such periods I just reaffirm to myself that the next week will be better.

There are actually, quite a lot of hints and tips about blogs. However the biggest of them all is that you need to have a blog. Not doing so will really cost you a great deal. With that said here is the list you have been looking for.

Niche WordPress Blogs

Ever felt like a fish swimming upstream in a tsunami?

Try explaining to people why you like Blogger instead of niche WordPress blogs and you just might see what I'm talking about.

Key benefits of using WordPress include.

* Easy to edit templates
* Thousands of themes
* Comments, trackbacks & pingbacks
* Passwords
* Prevent spam
* Require user registration if desired
* Multiple authors for one blog
* And that is just the start

WordPress is clearly worth taking the time to check out. My own experience was that niche WordPress blogs were much more difficult to understand than Blogger. Tomorrow we will look at other free blogging platforms for you to use.

Blogger Blogs

Blogger is my absolute favorite blogging system.

I like Blogger blogs because…

Google owns Blogger. There is no question but that Google is a leading search engine on the Web. Given that they are linked at the hip it is not hard to surmise that Google will give Blogger blogs more page rank benefits than other blogs?

Some say this is a debate. That is there choice. I'll continue to state the obvious.

Also, Blogger blogs are easy to manage and have numerous cool add-ons that everyone should check out.

Find out why to use Word Press in the next issue.

More Free Blogging Platforms

This is our last article on the various free blogging platforms you can use to build your blog. Next, we will start looking at the various attributes typical blogs offer for people as they build their blogs.

However, this is not to say that these are the only free Blogging platforms to be found.

If for some reason you are not happy with Blogger or WordPress why not try out any of the following.

* Squidoo.com
* TextPattern.com
* MovableType.org
* LifeType.org
* FlatPress.org

An easy Google search on the words "free blogging platforms" will reveal even more options for you to consider.

Why Blog?

Have you started blogging?

Or are you still asking yourself "why blog"? Especially since everyone else has a website.

There are a number of reasons why you want to blog instead of building a website.

1.] Search Engines love blogs more than websites.
2.] Blogs are characteristically more interactive than websites
3.] Generally speaking, blogs are easier to maintain than websites

The ultimate would actually be to have a website and blog tied together as they will help each other grow.

Now you know "why blog", next time we will begin comparing different types of blogging interfaces you can use to blog.

Public Domain: Developing Mini Sites With Free Public Domain Information

Free public domain information can be a valuable asset to your success on the Internet.

Public domain information can also be referred to as public property which is not legally owned or controlled by any one individual and as such is open for people to use in any way that they may desire.

This can be a real boon for people who are developing mini sites and/or blogs. In today's market creating a blog around public property information is much easier than developing a full blown website. Considering that search engines show more appreciation for blogs than websites it just makes sense to build a niched blog instead of taking the time to put together a more complex website.

Case in point. I started creating a website focused on helping people succeed with Internet Marketing in April 2008. It was sometime in August of that year that I resurrected an old blogging profile that I hadn't used for some time and merged the two together. The blog was a PR1, which I have come to understand to be like putting an address in the phone book and never looking it up. My website has reached the level of PR2 since its creation. On the other hand my blog went from a PR1 to PR0 to PR3 in less than 2 months. I have been building both projects on a daily basis. Thus I conclude Google has more appreciation for blogs than websites.

So far we have covered what public property is as well as the best platform to put such information together within.

The question now becomes, where can a person find public property that they can use to build their desired topically niched blogs?

NOTE: I thought I could do a Google and provide you with a nice list of places to find public property information. I WAS WRONG! It took me over 30 minutes to find the following free public domain information for developing mini sites. Oh sure, I could have sent you to places where you would have to pay for the information, but how valuable would that be? With that said, I hope you enjoy these following resources and use them often.

* Project Gutenberg @ http://www.gutenberg.org/wiki/Main_Page
* Internet Public Library @ http://www.ipl.org/div/books/
* Search eBooks @ http://www.searchebooks.com/
* Open Video @ http://www.open-video.org/
* Creative Commons @ http://creativecommons.org/

There is one item I would recommend purchasing to help you find the public property information you are looking for. It is different than anything else I've seen on the market:

How To Attract And Keep Customers Coming Back To Your Website With Product Centric Marketing Verse Customer Centric Marketing

Do you have a website?

Are you happy with the flow of traffic to your website?

Many people think that if they just get a website built everything else will work like a fine tuned instrument. They spend thousands of dollars or hundreds of hours on the build only to find a small trickle coming through the system that they have created.

The key piece they missed was marketing. No matter how good a site might be, if it is not properly marketed it's over before it ever begins.

That is why it is important to understand how to attract and keep customers coming back to your website.

Here are two approaches to this process.

* Product centric marketing
* Customer centric marketing

*** Product Centric ***
With product focused marketing you start with the product as your main focus. Your main concerns include

* Detailed outlines of the features and benefits of the product
* Price comparisons with competitors in the industry

Simply put, everything points exonerating the product with little concern for the person viewing the product. This type of marketing can work if you are working with an industry leader in your field.

*** Customer Centric ***
This is my own personal favorite way of marketing.

Sure, what I am selling is important but the customer experience while they are visiting my website is far more important. If they find your website cumbersome and hard to understand they aren't likely to be visiting again.

However, if they find your website

* Easy to navigate
* Informative
* Pleasing
* Friendly

Then, not only will they be returning again and again, but also they will be telling their friends and family about what they have found. Word of Mouth advertising is one of the fastest ways to build any business even on the web.

*** Drawing More Visitors ***
You can also draw visitors by properly using other methods.

Some are free

* Article marketing
* Video marketing
* Social networking & bookmarking

Others like pay per click advertising can cost a pretty penny.

Whatever method you use to tell people about your website don't forget the valuable asset of basic search engine optimization strategies. Also, with websites you may need to wait a good 6 months to 1 year before you really start to see the volume of visitors you are wanting.

*** Keep Them Returning ***
It amazes me how many excellent websites I see on the market with outstanding content which have no method of helping people return once they have visited.

Using automatic newsletter services like Aweber (my favorite), this is truly a slam-dunk process that can be easily and quickly implemented on any website. With a newsletter you can tell people about

* Special events
* Unique opportunities
* New content

And pretty much anything else that you think they would be interested in knowing about.

Simply put, newsletters are my own personal favorite way of getting visitors to return to my website offerings.

Now that you know how to attract and keep customers coming back to your website you can succeed online no mater if you are using product centric marketing or customer centric marketing. Here's to your success.

Aweber Autoresponders: How To Use Aweber Autoresponders To Increase Your Newsletter Readership

Do you have a newsletter as part of your website offerings?

If not, why not?

If so, are you getting the fullest out of your newsletter readership?

I just read an article that reminded me of what I really should have already been doing. Fact is, tutorials from companies like Aweber highly encourage people to use their Aweber autoresponders.

NOTE: This advice applies for all automated newsletter services and not just Aweber. I refer to Aweber because it is my own personal favorite among automated newsletter services.

So why have I not been using the Aweber autoresponder services?

Easy

* I am working 2 personal businesses and 1 part time job as we get things going with Internet Marketing.
* I am writing 3 articles a day for 3 separate projects that we are getting up and running.
* I am in a new marriage that needs time and attention given to it for continued growth.

Simply put, I just don't have the time. Can you relate from your own personal life event requirements? I'm betting you can.

However, after hearing this one bit of advice those excuses are all behind me starting today.

I truly believe this will work for you also.

Here it is…

Every time you write a newsletter to your subscribers, which you should be doing at least on a weekly basis, put an undated copy of your letter in your autoresponder account as well.

You want to make sure that it does not contain time sensitive data that would not make sense being received 6 months from today. But other than that, your new readers have never seen your newsletter. So as long as the information is still current and up-to-date the information will be valuable to them.

Therefore, to get the most mileage from your newsletter readership use Aweber autoresponders. They are worth their weight in gold.

Google Ranking: Using Long Tail Keyword Marketing For Free Google Ranking

I just wrote an article on why you want to use pay per click advertising for Google ranking success.

Want to know a secret?

I constantly am getting articles on the front page of Google for free.

No really.

I am!

The question is if you could get on the first pages of the Google search engines for free or pay for the exact same service, which would you prefer?

Yeah, I know. You're probably taking the no cost option. But the bottom line answer is that you want to combine both methods for optimal success.

Think of what your success would be if you dominated even one front page on Google that was related to your niche target audience.

Were not talking about keyword phrases like "Joe the plumber". Who's going to find you that way, unless of course there happens to be a presidential election taking place.

Here's the process for finding your top long tail keywords within any given niche.

First, you determine a niche. In my case it would be Internet marketing. In your case it's whatever your business or charity is about. For sake of simplicity I'll stick with the Internet marketing niche for my examples.

Okay, what keywords are within my niche?

* SEO
* Blogging
* Keyword
* Social networking
* And the list goes on… and on… and on

Anyone of the above keywords is a great place to start for my niche target audience.

I'll select "KEYWORD" with a result of typing this word with quotes into Google's search engine.
"keyword" = 596,000,000 competitors. I find this out by looking at the blue bar (Where it reads 1 of 10…) on the top of Google's results returned screen. Wow, 596 MILLION other people are targeting this keyword? My chances of breaking into this market are about as good as a snow ball in hell's lake of fire.

I know… let's try adding something to it.

"keyword marketing" = 200,000 competitors. That number sure looks better, though I am really looking for results between 1000 & 5000 strong.

Let's see. If I added one word and the competitors dropped severely what would happen if I added even more words?

"success with long tail keyword marketing" = 0 competitors. Hey! That's great right? I've got this segment all to my self! Problem is very few people are searching for this exact long tail keyword. Building from this will leave your Internet marketing career quite lonely indeed.

How about…

"long tail keyword marketing" = 3,170 competitors. BINGO! We found a keyword phrase to target.

But wait. There's more! If we remove the quotes we find an additional amount of competitors.

long tail keyword marketing = 109,000 competitors

For a grand total of 112,170 competitors.

From my own personal experience I know if I target the lower number (3,170) of competitors using article marketing or video advertising I'll stand a very good chance of being listed on the higher (109,000) list as well. All without paying a single dime of my hard earned money to Google for my awesome Google ranking.

Adding Negative Keywords To Your Adwords Advertising

Ever find yourself in a dilemma of indecision?

Should I eat a second piece of that double fudge chocolate cream pie?

Or should I not?

Should I... Should I not... She loves me... she loves me not

Enough already…

EAT THE PIE!

Today's article is kin to that dilemma within the world of Internet Marketing.

Should I put out my hard earned cash for Google pay per click advertising?

Or… should I not?

In this case the answer is definitely yes! Yes, you should and yes you should not pay for Google rankings.

I don't suppose that clears these matters up much does it? Okay, let me break it down. Let's talk about why you should indeed spend money on pay per click advertising.

*** IT's FAST ***

Compared to many other forms of Internet Marketing such as…

* Article marketing
* Video marketing
* Search Engine Optimization

And the list truly does go on. The advantage that pay per click advertising has over other forms of online marketing is that it can drive a horde of clients to your offerings very fast.

That's good!

And…

That's bad!

If you have not designed your pages correctly you may get a ton of visitors that do absolutely nothing more than come to your website and then leave. I'm not sure about you, but my pocket book won't sustain such activity over the long haul. I use this formula to figure that out…

1000 visitors X 0 sales = 0 income

Mind you, I'm no mathematician but that doesn't look very promising in the long run. So be prepared for your visitors before you start your PPC campaigns.

*** IT's EASY ***

Well sort of.

Once you figure out the different screens and such it can become easy to setup new campaigns. Be sure to setup two ads for every campaign so that you can monitor the results discarding the one that is not performing while improving upon the one that brought you the good results.

Also… do a Google search for the Google Adwords Editor tool. I have mixed feelings about this tool, but if you like it, it certainly will stream line things for you. One of the best parts about this tool is that it is free for use. So if you try it and don't like it you pay just as much as if you try it and like it. Zip!

*** IT's GOOGLE ***

Like it or not Google has a formidable chunk of the search engine traffic. That being said, wouldn't you want to be found on the Google search engines? I would. Especially if I could find long tail keywords that would get me there relatively inexpensively. Most all niches have such words, and with a little help from bum marketing you will be well on your way to finding which ones they are.

Once you uncover the gold nuggets that are simply waiting for someone to discover them you can build your AdWords campaigns around them.

*** CONCLUSION ***

Running a pay per click Google campaign is easy.

Running a well-designed Google campaign that brings in massive revenue can indeed be a bit more challenging.

However, paying for Google rankings via pay per click advertising is indeed something that is likely to supercharge you Internet business exposure as long as you do it strategically.

Blog Profits: Effectively Using Multimedia For Blog Profits

Blogging.

If you are not participating in this interactive form of Internet Marketing today, you are missing a huge opportunity in blog profits.

Even if you have a website you still want to blog. Better yet, link your website and blog together and let their popularity grow off one another.

Today, we will look at how effectively using multimedia while blogging will super-charge your chances of success on the net.

*** Using Written Content ***
Perhaps the easiest most used form of blogging is by using written content. There are several excellent reasons for this, not the least of which it is much easier to write content than record audio or create videos for the Internet. However, that pendulum is indeed changing.

More than that, people today are much more interested in listening or watching content as opposed to reading. It's a sad truth to face, but it is non-the-less a truth.

With Blogger you can invite guests contributors to write articles for you.

Also, there are hundreds of article directories where you can post articles with bi-lines back to your website.

As far as search engine optimization (SEO) is concerned you need written content in today's Internet Marketing world if you hope to gain the love of the major search engines like Google, Yahoo & such.

*** Using Audio Content ***
If a person is…

* Driving
* Working around the house

Or wanting to do something while listening to the information in the background an audio file would be ideal for their purposes.

Just don't set your audios to be automatic upon arrival at your website. They are great if people want to listen to them, but being forced to listen to them can drive people away from your website in droves.

*** Using Video Content ***
People love video, they just do. Especially videos that are, at least, quasi professional.

What you may not know is that you can gain higher PR backlinks when using video than you do with article directories.

Three ways in which BodyByChocolates.com successfully uses video multimedia within their website are.

* Text links which anyone can find on the side bar.
* Videos spliced in on the front page.
* Videos available on auxiliary pages of the website.

Varying where you have videos and how they are accessed keeps the site lively, fun & interesting.

*** Concluding Multimedia ***
Along with all the above blogs offer an interactive way for an audience to take place in an article, audio or video. Adding this fact to aspects of how a person can start effectively using multimedia makes it quite easy to earn blog profits while continuing to build your Internet Marketing dream come true.

How To Choose Online Perfect Business Name For Your Website Business

Have you ever seen a bad domain name? Would you even know one if it was staring right back at you?

My guess is that most people wouldn't. That's why you find website domains like…

* PainterPete.com
* BodyByChocolates.biz
* WeddingPhotosByDon.com

In the process of explaining the problems with the above domain names I would like to show you how to choose online for the perfect business name of your website business.

*** PainterPete.org ***
This may be a good domain for people who know painter Pete. However, there is so much more potential with the web than just keeping in touch with your current contacts. Even if your interest in the web is localized to your general geographical location there are things you can do to target that market via the web.

* Google Adwords
* Craig's List
* Ebay

All come to mind in this regard, though this article is not intended to delve into the finer points of how to use those resources geographically.

Several questions come to mind when I look at this domain.

* What type of painting are we talking about? (Let's presume it's exterior house painting)
* Is this a properly optimized domain name? (We will turn to Google for these answers)

Google tells me I have 38,000,000 competitors for the word "painter". Not Good. As for the word Pete, it lends no value to the subject of painting and as such should be dropped altogether.

Using the principals of bum marketing I narrow my domain down to only having 6,410 competitors and arrive at "your house painter". I take this information over to my favorite domain server, to find if it is available. Unfortunately I find that YourHousePainter.com is already taken. Not to worry, if I simply put hyphens between each word I arrive at Your-House-Painter.com and find it to be available. Now when people go to Pete's website it will not be hard for them to understand what it is about.

*** BodyByChocolates.biz ***
At first glance this looks like an excellent domain name.

Competition is only 1,860.

While the URL may not give away what exactly is being sold it is alluring enough that people will check it out.

So what's the problem?

Most people are familiar with the ".com" of websites. While other extensions are indeed available keeping the extension to what people are familiar with will help drive traffic to your website.

Looking into we find that BodyByChocolates.com is indeed available for purchase. Well, at least it was until I bought it. The point here is to stay to the ".com" for best results with your website business.

*** WeddingPhotosByDon.com ***
Unlike Pete, Don can travel anywhere to do wedding photos. It doesn't even have to be the same state, though their talent must be extraordinary to have their service brought over from another state. Thus we will focus on the state of Washington for this review.

Don has two keywords in her domain name, which is good. Unfortunately If we take a look at Google, I'm betting competition is going to be fierce.

And I am right. There are over 3,550,000 competing for this keyword phrase. Can we narrow the scope while providing people with more information about this service?

Eureka! We can. "washington wedding photos" only has 946 competitors. We rush off to and discover that WashingtonWeddingPhotos.com is already taken. Since we are already niched down with an excellent domain name we could add Don's name back ending up with WashingtonWeddingPhotosByDon.com and an available domain.

Yes, we could have used the hyphen trick from earlier, but sometimes that is not the preferred way of handling things. There is some level of making choices that plays into picking domain names.

*** Concluding Comments ***
Now you know the secretes of selecting a perfect business name for your website business. You can use the same type of approach when it comes to deciding how to choose online articles, videos or even pay per click advertising. May you have much success with your Internet Marketing ventures.

SearchWarp: Making Easy Money From Article Directories Like SearchWarp

Writing articles.

If you've been attempting Internet Marketing on the web for any time at all you have heard the rumor about the tremendous value from article directories.

I'm here to set the record straight.

Everything you've heard about the benefits of article marketing is true. Yes, video marketing is even truer; but we will save that information for another article.

What you may not have heard as much about is that making easy money from article directories is very plausible.

For example, SearchWarp pays you via Google Adsense for referrals that you send their way. The higher your rating in their system the greater your potential profits.

However, I personally do not believe they do a good job of explaining how the process works. In reality it is very easy even though the directions available are not so much so. Given that I would like to explain to you how their program works.

First you need to create an account and profile. No big secret there. Once you are satisfied with your new profile you save it and your good to go.

Here's where things started getting a bit confusing for me.

Next you write an article about making money with their article directory.

Then post that article to their directory. I have found it easy to use an article submitter for this process, however unlike any other directory I have ever worked with, you then need to logon to their article directory and select the submit button to fully complete the submission process.

While I don't much care for this extra step the financial possibilities for additional income are huge making it more than worth the trouble.

Once the article is posted you then navigate to that very same article that teaches people how to make easy cash from article directories like SearchWarp. Copy the URL for this exact article and begin promoting it from wherever seems logical to you. The result is that while you are building a following for your own website offerings, you are also making easy money from Google AdSense in the process.
