Blogger Blogs
Blogger is my absolute favorite blogging system.
I like Blogger blogs because…
Google owns Blogger. There is no question but that Google is a leading search engine on the Web. Given that they are linked at the hip it is not hard to surmise that Google will give Blogger blogs more page rank benefits than other blogs?
Some say this is a debate. That is there choice. I'll continue to state the obvious.
Also, Blogger blogs are easy to manage and have numerous cool add-ons that everyone should check out.
Find out why to use Word Press in the next issue.

Why Blog?
Have you started blogging?
Or are you still asking yourself "why blog"? Especially since everyone else has a website.
There are a number of reasons why you want to blog instead of building a website.
1.] Search Engines love blogs more than websites.
2.] Blogs are characteristically more interactive than websites
3.] Generally speaking, blogs are easier to maintain than websites
The ultimate would actually be to have a website and blog tied together as they will help each other grow.
Now you know "why blog", next time we will begin comparing different types of blogging interfaces you can use to blog.

Public Domain: Developing Mini Sites With Free Public Domain Information
Free public domain information can be a valuable asset to your success on the Internet.
Public domain information can also be referred to as public property which is not legally owned or controlled by any one individual and as such is open for people to use in any way that they may desire.
This can be a real boon for people who are developing mini sites and/or blogs. In today's market creating a blog around public property information is much easier than developing a full blown website. Considering that search engines show more appreciation for blogs than websites it just makes sense to build a niched blog instead of taking the time to put together a more complex website.
Case in point. I started creating a website focused on helping people succeed with Internet Marketing in April 2008. It was sometime in August of that year that I resurrected an old blogging profile that I hadn't used for some time and merged the two together. The blog was a PR1, which I have come to understand to be like putting an address in the phone book and never looking it up. My website has reached the level of PR2 since its creation. On the other hand my blog went from a PR1 to PR0 to PR3 in less than 2 months. I have been building both projects on a daily basis. Thus I conclude Google has more appreciation for blogs than websites.
So far we have covered what public property is as well as the best platform to put such information together within.
The question now becomes, where can a person find public property that they can use to build their desired topically niched blogs?
NOTE: I thought I could do a Google and provide you with a nice list of places to find public property information. I WAS WRONG! It took me over 30 minutes to find the following free public domain information for developing mini sites. Oh sure, I could have sent you to places where you would have to pay for the information, but how valuable would that be? With that said, I hope you enjoy these following resources and use them often.
* Project Gutenberg @ http://www.gutenberg.org/wiki/Main_Page
* Internet Public Library @ http://www.ipl.org/div/books/
* Search eBooks @ http://www.searchebooks.com/
* Open Video @ http://www.open-video.org/
* Creative Commons @ http://creativecommons.org/
There is one item I would recommend purchasing to help you find the public property information you are looking for. It is different than anything else I've seen on the market:

How To Attract And Keep Customers Coming Back To Your Website With Product Centric Marketing Verse Customer Centric Marketing
Do you have a website?
Are you happy with the flow of traffic to your website?
Many people think that if they just get a website built everything else will work like a fine tuned instrument. They spend thousands of dollars or hundreds of hours on the build only to find a small trickle coming through the system that they have created.
The key piece they missed was marketing. No matter how good a site might be, if it is not properly marketed it's over before it ever begins.
That is why it is important to understand how to attract and keep customers coming back to your website.
Here are two approaches to this process.
* Product centric marketing
* Customer centric marketing
*** Product Centric ***
With product focused marketing you start with the product as your main focus. Your main concerns include
* Detailed outlines of the features and benefits of the product
* Price comparisons with competitors in the industry
Simply put, everything points exonerating the product with little concern for the person viewing the product. This type of marketing can work if you are working with an industry leader in your field.
*** Customer Centric ***
This is my own personal favorite way of marketing.
Sure, what I am selling is important but the customer experience while they are visiting my website is far more important. If they find your website cumbersome and hard to understand they aren't likely to be visiting again.
However, if they find your website
* Easy to navigate
* Informative
* Pleasing
* Friendly
Then, not only will they be returning again and again, but also they will be telling their friends and family about what they have found. Word of Mouth advertising is one of the fastest ways to build any business even on the web.
*** Drawing More Visitors ***
You can also draw visitors by properly using other methods.
Some are free
* Article marketing
* Video marketing
* Social networking & bookmarking
Others like pay per click advertising can cost a pretty penny.
Whatever method you use to tell people about your website don't forget the valuable asset of basic search engine optimization strategies. Also, with websites you may need to wait a good 6 months to 1 year before you really start to see the volume of visitors you are wanting.
*** Keep Them Returning ***
It amazes me how many excellent websites I see on the market with outstanding content which have no method of helping people return once they have visited.
Using automatic newsletter services like Aweber (my favorite), this is truly a slam-dunk process that can be easily and quickly implemented on any website. With a newsletter you can tell people about
* Special events
* Unique opportunities
* New content
And pretty much anything else that you think they would be interested in knowing about.
Simply put, newsletters are my own personal favorite way of getting visitors to return to my website offerings.
Now that you know how to attract and keep customers coming back to your website you can succeed online no mater if you are using product centric marketing or customer centric marketing. Here's to your success.

Aweber Autoresponders: How To Use Aweber Autoresponders To Increase Your Newsletter Readership
Do you have a newsletter as part of your website offerings?
If not, why not?
If so, are you getting the fullest out of your newsletter readership?
I just read an article that reminded me of what I really should have already been doing. Fact is, tutorials from companies like Aweber highly encourage people to use their Aweber autoresponders.
NOTE: This advice applies for all automated newsletter services and not just Aweber. I refer to Aweber because it is my own personal favorite among automated newsletter services.
So why have I not been using the Aweber autoresponder services?
Easy
* I am working 2 personal businesses and 1 part time job as we get things going with Internet Marketing.
* I am writing 3 articles a day for 3 separate projects that we are getting up and running.
* I am in a new marriage that needs time and attention given to it for continued growth.
Simply put, I just don't have the time. Can you relate from your own personal life event requirements? I'm betting you can.
However, after hearing this one bit of advice those excuses are all behind me starting today.
I truly believe this will work for you also.
Here it is…
Every time you write a newsletter to your subscribers, which you should be doing at least on a weekly basis, put an undated copy of your letter in your autoresponder account as well.
You want to make sure that it does not contain time sensitive data that would not make sense being received 6 months from today. But other than that, your new readers have never seen your newsletter. So as long as the information is still current and up-to-date the information will be valuable to them.
Therefore, to get the most mileage from your newsletter readership use Aweber autoresponders. They are worth their weight in gold.

Google Ranking: Using Long Tail Keyword Marketing For Free Google Ranking
I just wrote an article on why you want to use pay per click advertising for Google ranking success.
Want to know a secret?
I constantly am getting articles on the front page of Google for free.
No really.
I am!
The question is if you could get on the first pages of the Google search engines for free or pay for the exact same service, which would you prefer?
Yeah, I know. You're probably taking the no cost option. But the bottom line answer is that you want to combine both methods for optimal success.
Think of what your success would be if you dominated even one front page on Google that was related to your niche target audience.
Were not talking about keyword phrases like "Joe the plumber". Who's going to find you that way, unless of course there happens to be a presidential election taking place.
Here's the process for finding your top long tail keywords within any given niche.
First, you determine a niche. In my case it would be Internet marketing. In your case it's whatever your business or charity is about. For sake of simplicity I'll stick with the Internet marketing niche for my examples.
Okay, what keywords are within my niche?
* SEO
* Blogging
* Keyword
* Social networking
* And the list goes on… and on… and on
Anyone of the above keywords is a great place to start for my niche target audience.
I'll select "KEYWORD" with a result of typing this word with quotes into Google's search engine.
"keyword" = 596,000,000 competitors. I find this out by looking at the blue bar (Where it reads 1 of 10…) on the top of Google's results returned screen. Wow, 596 MILLION other people are targeting this keyword? My chances of breaking into this market are about as good as a snow ball in hell's lake of fire.
I know… let's try adding something to it.
"keyword marketing" = 200,000 competitors. That number sure looks better, though I am really looking for results between 1000 & 5000 strong.
Let's see. If I added one word and the competitors dropped severely what would happen if I added even more words?
"success with long tail keyword marketing" = 0 competitors. Hey! That's great right? I've got this segment all to my self! Problem is very few people are searching for this exact long tail keyword. Building from this will leave your Internet marketing career quite lonely indeed.
How about…
"long tail keyword marketing" = 3,170 competitors. BINGO! We found a keyword phrase to target.
But wait. There's more! If we remove the quotes we find an additional amount of competitors.
long tail keyword marketing = 109,000 competitors
For a grand total of 112,170 competitors.
From my own personal experience I know if I target the lower number (3,170) of competitors using article marketing or video advertising I'll stand a very good chance of being listed on the higher (109,000) list as well. All without paying a single dime of my hard earned money to Google for my awesome Google ranking.

Adding Negative Keywords To Your Adwords Advertising
Ever find yourself in a dilemma of indecision?
Should I eat a second piece of that double fudge chocolate cream pie?
Or should I not?
Should I... Should I not... She loves me... she loves me not
Enough already…
EAT THE PIE!
Today's article is kin to that dilemma within the world of Internet Marketing.
Should I put out my hard earned cash for Google pay per click advertising?
Or… should I not?
In this case the answer is definitely yes! Yes, you should and yes you should not pay for Google rankings.
I don't suppose that clears these matters up much does it? Okay, let me break it down. Let's talk about why you should indeed spend money on pay per click advertising.
*** IT's FAST ***
Compared to many other forms of Internet Marketing such as…
* Article marketing
* Video marketing
* Search Engine Optimization
And the list truly does go on. The advantage that pay per click advertising has over other forms of online marketing is that it can drive a horde of clients to your offerings very fast.
That's good!
And…
That's bad!
If you have not designed your pages correctly you may get a ton of visitors that do absolutely nothing more than come to your website and then leave. I'm not sure about you, but my pocket book won't sustain such activity over the long haul. I use this formula to figure that out…
1000 visitors X 0 sales = 0 income
Mind you, I'm no mathematician but that doesn't look very promising in the long run. So be prepared for your visitors before you start your PPC campaigns.
*** IT's EASY ***
Well sort of.
Once you figure out the different screens and such it can become easy to setup new campaigns. Be sure to setup two ads for every campaign so that you can monitor the results discarding the one that is not performing while improving upon the one that brought you the good results.
Also… do a Google search for the Google Adwords Editor tool. I have mixed feelings about this tool, but if you like it, it certainly will stream line things for you. One of the best parts about this tool is that it is free for use. So if you try it and don't like it you pay just as much as if you try it and like it. Zip!
*** IT's GOOGLE ***
Like it or not Google has a formidable chunk of the search engine traffic. That being said, wouldn't you want to be found on the Google search engines? I would. Especially if I could find long tail keywords that would get me there relatively inexpensively. Most all niches have such words, and with a little help from bum marketing you will be well on your way to finding which ones they are.
Once you uncover the gold nuggets that are simply waiting for someone to discover them you can build your AdWords campaigns around them.
*** CONCLUSION ***
Running a pay per click Google campaign is easy.
Running a well-designed Google campaign that brings in massive revenue can indeed be a bit more challenging.
However, paying for Google rankings via pay per click advertising is indeed something that is likely to supercharge you Internet business exposure as long as you do it strategically.

Blog Profits: Effectively Using Multimedia For Blog Profits
Blogging.
If you are not participating in this interactive form of Internet Marketing today, you are missing a huge opportunity in blog profits.
Even if you have a website you still want to blog. Better yet, link your website and blog together and let their popularity grow off one another.
Today, we will look at how effectively using multimedia while blogging will super-charge your chances of success on the net.
*** Using Written Content ***
Perhaps the easiest most used form of blogging is by using written content. There are several excellent reasons for this, not the least of which it is much easier to write content than record audio or create videos for the Internet. However, that pendulum is indeed changing.
More than that, people today are much more interested in listening or watching content as opposed to reading. It's a sad truth to face, but it is non-the-less a truth.
With Blogger you can invite guests contributors to write articles for you.
Also, there are hundreds of article directories where you can post articles with bi-lines back to your website.
As far as search engine optimization (SEO) is concerned you need written content in today's Internet Marketing world if you hope to gain the love of the major search engines like Google, Yahoo & such.
*** Using Audio Content ***
If a person is…
* Driving
* Working around the house
Or wanting to do something while listening to the information in the background an audio file would be ideal for their purposes.
Just don't set your audios to be automatic upon arrival at your website. They are great if people want to listen to them, but being forced to listen to them can drive people away from your website in droves.
*** Using Video Content ***
People love video, they just do. Especially videos that are, at least, quasi professional.
What you may not know is that you can gain higher PR backlinks when using video than you do with article directories.
Three ways in which BodyByChocolates.com successfully uses video multimedia within their website are.
* Text links which anyone can find on the side bar.
* Videos spliced in on the front page.
* Videos available on auxiliary pages of the website.
Varying where you have videos and how they are accessed keeps the site lively, fun & interesting.
*** Concluding Multimedia ***
Along with all the above blogs offer an interactive way for an audience to take place in an article, audio or video. Adding this fact to aspects of how a person can start effectively using multimedia makes it quite easy to earn blog profits while continuing to build your Internet Marketing dream come true.
If a person is…
* Driving
* Working around the house

How To Choose Online Perfect Business Name For Your Website Business
Have you ever seen a bad domain name? Would you even know one if it was staring right back at you?
My guess is that most people wouldn't. That's why you find website domains like…
* PainterPete.com
* BodyByChocolates.biz
* WeddingPhotosByDon.com
In the process of explaining the problems with the above domain names I would like to show you how to choose online for the perfect business name of your website business.
*** PainterPete.org ***
This may be a good domain for people who know painter Pete. However, there is so much more potential with the web than just keeping in touch with your current contacts. Even if your interest in the web is localized to your general geographical location there are things you can do to target that market via the web.
* Google Adwords
* Craig's List
* Ebay
All come to mind in this regard, though this article is not intended to delve into the finer points of how to use those resources geographically.
Several questions come to mind when I look at this domain.
* What type of painting are we talking about? (Let's presume it's exterior house painting)
* Is this a properly optimized domain name? (We will turn to Google for these answers)
Google tells me I have 38,000,000 competitors for the word "painter". Not Good. As for the word Pete, it lends no value to the subject of painting and as such should be dropped altogether.
Using the principals of bum marketing I narrow my domain down to only having 6,410 competitors and arrive at "your house painter". I take this information over to my favorite domain server, to find if it is available. Unfortunately I find that YourHousePainter.com is already taken. Not to worry, if I simply put hyphens between each word I arrive at Your-House-Painter.com and find it to be available. Now when people go to Pete's website it will not be hard for them to understand what it is about.
*** BodyByChocolates.biz ***
At first glance this looks like an excellent domain name.
Competition is only 1,860.
While the URL may not give away what exactly is being sold it is alluring enough that people will check it out.
So what's the problem?
Most people are familiar with the ".com" of websites. While other extensions are indeed available keeping the extension to what people are familiar with will help drive traffic to your website.
Looking into we find that BodyByChocolates.com is indeed available for purchase. Well, at least it was until I bought it. The point here is to stay to the ".com" for best results with your website business.
*** WeddingPhotosByDon.com ***
Unlike Pete, Don can travel anywhere to do wedding photos. It doesn't even have to be the same state, though their talent must be extraordinary to have their service brought over from another state. Thus we will focus on the state of Washington for this review.
Don has two keywords in her domain name, which is good. Unfortunately If we take a look at Google, I'm betting competition is going to be fierce.
And I am right. There are over 3,550,000 competing for this keyword phrase. Can we narrow the scope while providing people with more information about this service?
Eureka! We can. "washington wedding photos" only has 946 competitors. We rush off to and discover that WashingtonWeddingPhotos.com is already taken. Since we are already niched down with an excellent domain name we could add Don's name back ending up with WashingtonWeddingPhotosByDon.com and an available domain.
Yes, we could have used the hyphen trick from earlier, but sometimes that is not the preferred way of handling things. There is some level of making choices that plays into picking domain names.
*** Concluding Comments ***
Now you know the secretes of selecting a perfect business name for your website business. You can use the same type of approach when it comes to deciding how to choose online articles, videos or even pay per click advertising. May you have much success with your Internet Marketing ventures.

SearchWarp: Making Easy Money From Article Directories Like SearchWarp
Writing articles.
If you've been attempting Internet Marketing on the web for any time at all you have heard the rumor about the tremendous value from article directories.
I'm here to set the record straight.
Everything you've heard about the benefits of article marketing is true. Yes, video marketing is even truer; but we will save that information for another article.
What you may not have heard as much about is that making easy money from article directories is very plausible.
For example, SearchWarp pays you via Google Adsense for referrals that you send their way. The higher your rating in their system the greater your potential profits.
However, I personally do not believe they do a good job of explaining how the process works. In reality it is very easy even though the directions available are not so much so. Given that I would like to explain to you how their program works.
First you need to create an account and profile. No big secret there. Once you are satisfied with your new profile you save it and your good to go.
Here's where things started getting a bit confusing for me.
Next you write an article about making money with their article directory.
Then post that article to their directory. I have found it easy to use an article submitter for this process, however unlike any other directory I have ever worked with, you then need to logon to their article directory and select the submit button to fully complete the submission process.
While I don't much care for this extra step the financial possibilities for additional income are huge making it more than worth the trouble.
Once the article is posted you then navigate to that very same article that teaches people how to make easy cash from article directories like SearchWarp. Copy the URL for this exact article and begin promoting it from wherever seems logical to you. The result is that while you are building a following for your own website offerings, you are also making easy money from Google AdSense in the process.

Popular Types Of Internet Marketing For Website Traffic Creation
Internet Marketing.
While those words may seem more than a little elusive, not doing it will bring traffic creation to an absolute standstill.
Therefore, I would like to cover several types of Internet Marketing that will supercharge the success you receive on the net.
*** Article Marketing ***
I love to write! Therefore, this is one of my own personal favorite strategies when it comes to generating traffic from the Internet.
My favorite type of article marketing is called bum marketing because it helps you get for free what other people are paying top dollar for. The disadvantage of this process is found in the fact that it is a very slow way of gaining web success. However, considering the benefits of what free marketing can offer it's worth the time it takes to work.
Five free sites I would not miss being involved with as it relates to article marketing are…
* HowHub.com (A brand new unique way of writing for the web that pays you)
* SearchWarp.com (There is an option where you can receive pay for your submissions)
* Squidoo.com (Best social networking site for bum marketing articles)
* EzineArticles.com (Article directory industry leader)
* ArticleBiz.com (Good for Social Bookmarking)
*** Video Marketing ***
This works exactly the same way as article marketing with the exception that you are working with videos instead of articles. There are numerous video directories to target your videos too. An essential one not to miss would be YouTube.com. Video directories may actually be more important than article directories as they normally offer a much higher Google Page Rank than what article directories do.
*** Social Networking & Bookmarking ***
Social Networking is an excellent way of spreading one's word on the web. The problem is that there are more social type-sites than you can count on the web today. In my opinion keeping track of this information is paramount to having an Internet nervous break down. That was before someone told me about MyPage.com. MyPage provides you with the ability to control all your social networking activities from a single podium. Using this tool Web 2.0 strategies make sense.
*** Conclusion ***
Using the above free types of Internet marketing strategies for your web business traffic creation simply makes sense. However, remember the basics of search engine optimization (SEO) will further enhance any and all efforts that you might try from the above information. With that said, go forth and conquer. The web is your domain!

Using Blogger Blogs For Killer Minisites Can Boost Online Sales
Killer Minisites.
What are they and how will using Blogger Blogs help their creations.
According to Wikipedia a minisite is…
"A minisite is a website on which companies offer information on one particular product or product group. Typically, a minisite is enhanced by various multimedia contents, such as an animated, narrated introduction, and accompanied by a visual scheme, which complements the product well."
I would add that the purpose of a successful minisite is to boost online sales.
Often times a minisite can consist of only one or two pages, however when using a blog platform for the minisite it can actually become quite a large site after only a short amount of time.
Since blogs allow you to add one article at a time you can easily piece meal things into a dynamic approach that is easy to maintain. If you take an aggressive approach of writing a new article every day in only 30 days you have 30 pages. Just make sure to set a realistic writing schedule that you can maintain in the long run.
Following this 60 day plan Google raised my page rank value on their system from 0 to 3 on a 0 – 10 scale.
Simply put search engines love properly managed blogs.
Why?
Many reasons really. Blogs are…
* Interactive by making comments and responses to posts that are made.
* Fresh, with new content and articles being posted frequently.
* Easy to publicize when implementing technology like FeedBurner which leads to backlinks from high PR websites.
If that were all that blogs offered it would be more than enough. Fortunately, that's just the start.
On my Blogger Blogs I also include…
* A targeted search engine compliments of Google Adsense, which is another fine product from Google.
* The ability to know when new posts are made via Email or RSS feed compliments of FeedBurner.
* A "read more" link, which helps people know what has been posted recently in a glance rather than weeding through countless pages of undesirable content.
* Video, audio and text content that appeals to every kind of reader rather than just those who happen to be speed-readers.
* And that's really just the start.
Using Blogger blogs for creation of killer minisites is quite an easy undertaking. Done right they can boost online sales much better than a traditional website is able to do. With that said, use Blogger blogs for your Internet Marketing ventures and watch the success come pouring in.

3 Feed Burning Rss Questions Answered By FeedBurner Rss
RSS.
If you are like me you have heard this acronym before.
Perhaps you even know that it stands for "Really Simple Syndication".
But the question remains…
Who cares?
The answer is…
YOU!
Let's examine 3 RSS questions to find out exactly why you should be using RSS in your own online campaigns.
1:] How do I setup an RSS chicklet on my blog?
2:] Can I use Email with RSS?
3:] What do PING & RSS have in common?
NOTE: While there are other RSS services on the web, we will be positioning this discussion around the usage of FeedBurner RSS services. In general the concepts unfolded here will apply to other feed burning services as well.
*** How Do I Setup An RSS Chicklet On My Blog ***
After logging on to your FeedBurner account you will pleasantly find that the bulk of the work is suddenly behind you.
On the top of your screen you will find these following tabs
* Analyze
* Optimize
* Publicize
* Monetize
* Troubleshootize
We will be working within the "PUBLICIZE" window to answer this and the other 2 questions.
Once in the "PUBLICIZE" screen you will find a list of options on the left side.
Find and select the "CHICKLET CHOOSER".
Choose the "CHICKLET" you would like to use.
Scroll to the bottom drop down box and select the blog platform you are working with. If your preferred platform is not listed then copy paste the code where you would like it to reside on your blog.
When using the drop down blog selection options, if you have more than one blog be sure to select the right one else have the wrong RSS feed installed on the wrong blog.
Now, each time you submit a new article to your blog it will automatically send out a notification to anyone and everyone that has chosen to be part of your RSS service.
But wait. There's more….
*** Can I Use Email With RSS? ***
Not everyone is used to using and/or familiar with the process of RSS yet. So providing a second option for people that don't use RSS is a really good idea.
That's why when setting up your RSS service you also want to setup an "EMAIL SUBSCRIPTION" option.
Simply follow the same path as what you did to install the "CHICKLET" with the alteration of choosing "EMAIL SUBSCRIPTIONS" from the "SERVICES" list instead.
*** What Do PING & RSS Have In Common? ***d
The result?
You now have both an RSS feed and an Email Subscription option setup for your readers to join. With those items in place, every time you update your blog your readers will know about it. Provide them with information that they want and you will find a steady flow of visitors coming back to your blog on a regular basis.
However, a problem still exists in that people need to know that these services exist on your blog before they can join them.
That's where the concept of PINGing comes into the picture.
From the same "SERVICES" list that you used to setup your feed and Email subscription options, choose "PINGSHOT"
Select the services you would like to PING.
Be sure to add the 5 additional services. Why not? It's free and the more publicity the better, no?
Select "SAVE" and you're done.
Now when you submit a new post to your blog it will be automatically posted to all these services mentioned on this list.
Talk about instant publicity.
*** Conclusion ***
Using the FeedBurner RSS utility for feed burning is free and easy. To answer even more RSS questions spend time checking out the different options on FeedBurner. Why not? While there is certainly reason to pay for some advertising services like PPC on the web, getting all the low cost to know cost publicity you can is certainly an excellent idea.

How To Create A Thumbnail Image For Your YouTube Video
You've gone to all the work of creating a video.
You've even followed my upload video guide advice for your YouTube video.
Whether this is your first or your millionth video you want to be sure to create a thumbnail image that makes sense.
There are probably thousands of videos on YouTube and other directories that would get better hits if they only had a good thumbnail image for people to view.
*** Placing The Thumbnail Image ***
The truth is that they would probably be shocked to find out how easy it is to choose their desired thumbnail image for their video. Simply put, when creating the video itself place the thumbnail image exactly at the half way mark in the video.
After uploading your video YouTube will let you choose which thumbnail to use. In a perfect world you would be able to select the image that you placed in the middle of your video. If this does not happen for you, then keep adjusting your video till you can see you're desired image.
In numbers it would look like this.
For a 20 second video you would place your thumbnail image at 10 seconds.
For a 5-minute video you would place the thumbnail image at 2.30 minutes within your video.
Just divide your video by 2 and you arrive at the exact position where the thumbnail needs to be placed at.
*** Thumbnail Image Helpful Hints ***
* Your thumbnail needs to catch your reader's eye. Some people use beautiful models to accomplish this while other people target specific items like a blown up shot of a hamburger. Whatever you choose make it provocative enough that your reader will want to find out what the video is about.
* Your thumbnail image does not have to relate to your video. If it does that's great. However, if you simply want the image to draw reader's attention then you can do something zany or wild to accomplish that goal.
* Whatever image you choose as your thumbnail will appeal to a specific target audience more than any other. Therefore, if you are targeting a female audience you will probably want to choose something other than a scantily dressed woman.
*** Summary Of Thumbnail Images ***
When you deliberately strategically create a thumbnail image for your YouTube video you will automatically increase the level of viewers for that video. People are almost always more intrigued by an alluring image than they are by one's that don't make sense. For that reason your thumbnail image is truly one of the most important parts of your video.
