No Niche Marketing Strategy Is Good

That’s right. Despite what you may have heard elsewhere, no niche marketing strategy is good and I’d like you to know why.

See, I’ve tried niche target market strategies before without success. From romance to chocolate, I’ve been there and done that.

I once created a niche Website that focused on breast cancer prevention with the same results. Then I came up with the idea of combining four niches together to make a niche store that everyone would rush to in droves.

That didn’t work either.

I did find what does work though, and it is 100% more affective than niche advertising.

Relationship Marketing Strategy

That’s right.

Relationship marketing is 100% more affective than niche advertising. The strange part is you can accomplish both exactly the same way.

And I do mean exactly!

The difference is not in the process, but rather the processor.

Anyone can write niche marketing articles related to avionics, but only those interested in the art of flying will be able to relate to people interested in the craft in a passionately fun and enlightening way.

Bottom line, if you build a niche business around something you want to “sell” your success will never be as huge as if you build a niche business around something you are passionate about sharing with other people.

It’s a mindset, and it’s powerful.

Niche Target Market

People can tell the difference between someone who is doing niche advertising and sharing their passion about something within a given niche. It’s as obvious as the nose on the front of your face.

Niche Marketing Research

Therefore, before you start to put together a list of niche marketing ideas or niche marketing tips go a step further and define what you are passionate about. Once you find your passion the money will follow.

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve heard that quote, but it is true. It is also the reason that starting with a niche marketing strategy is getting the proverbial cart before the horse.
